With the current trend towards environmentally friendly travel alternatives, we have seen a large increase in coach hire bookings that are being increasingly driven by environmental issues. This is particularly prevalent with coach hire for Weddings, where a typical 30 minute transfer for 50 wedding guests can have a carbon emission output that is a fraction of what would be expected if all the passengers used their own forms of transport.

London's introduction of the Low Emission Zone in February has meant that Coach Operators in London have had to either make modifications to their fleet, or upgrade their vehicles to newer ones. Coach operators outside of London who wish to enter the zone without meeting the emission standards means an additional charge of £200, or fines ranging from £500-£1500.
